Our Story
Not Your Average Bar. Not Your Average Neighborhood.
RatShit started as a simple idea: give Burlington a place where three things people actually love — great beer, fine cigars, and real food — share the same roof without compromise.
That was years ago. Today, we're still that place. The brewery tanks are still running. The humidor is still stocked. And the grille still fires up every evening with the same stubborn commitment to flavor that got us here.
We don't chase trends. We don't rebrand. We just keep doing what works: pouring cold beer, lighting cigars, and serving food that makes people come back.

Our Brewery
We brew on-site because beer tastes better when you know exactly who made it — and when you can ask them how it went.
Our small-batch brewery produces a rotating selection of ales and lagers that change with the seasons and the mood. Some years we go heavy on the porters. Some years the IPAs call our name. Whatever we're pouring, it's brewed here, in Burlington, with the same ingredients and attention we'd expect anywhere else — except better, because it's ours.

The Grille
Food That Doesn't Apologize
We run a kitchen that takes its job seriously — not pretentious, just honest. Hearty portions, bold flavors, and nothing on the menu that we wouldn't eat ourselves after a long shift behind the bar.
From breakfast classics to late-night plates that actually arrive hot, the Grille is where hunger goes to get handled. Pair it with a pint from the tap and you've got the whole equation right there.
The Lounge
A Cigar Lounge That Respects the Ritual
You don't light a good cigar and rush it. Neither do we. Our lounge is built for people who take their time — whether that's an hour after work or a Sunday afternoon stretched out over three pints and one perfect smoke.
The humidor is kept at the right temperature. The ashtrays are big enough. The ventilation works. And the staff knows the difference between a Maduro and a Cameroon without checking a menu. That's not marketing — that's just how we run it.
